Atlanta's Film Industry Is Gearing Up For Action

One of my favorite aspects of working in real estate in the Metro Atlanta area is keeping up to date with all of the amazing opportunities our area has to offer.  The film industry is growing each year, and I am extremely excited about some of the television shows and feature films coming here to film.  There are quite a few block buster movies being filmed in Atlanta, along with one of my favorite shows,

Sleepy Hollow is moving here from North Carolina.  Changes in North Carolina’s film tax credit have made Georgia much more attractive to the film industry,  Luckily Sleepy Hollow was picked up for its third season, and we can look forward to headless adventures here in our home town.

Captain America 3: Civil War is currently casting, and will feature Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man alongside Cap.  The new movie will also introduce Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.  The movie is expected to have a release date of May 6th, 2016.  Tammy Smith Casting is looking to for talent to work as extras in the movie.  You can find casting call information here: http://www.projectcasting.com/news/captain-america-civil-war/

Allegiant…Part 1 (Since the final book in every series needs to be split into multiple movies now)… is also casting.  They need people who are in very good physical shape.  Information for the casting call for Allegiant can be found here:http://www.projectcasting.com/casting-calls-acting-auditions/allegiant-part-1-extras-casting-call-in-atlanta/

And definitely not least…Guardians of the Galaxy 2!  This is expected to be filmed at the Pinewood Atlanta Studio in Fayetteville.  There have not been any announcements for casting calls yet for this film, but you can guarantee that I will be there.
